ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Dangerous electrical voltage! The machine may only be connected to the mains
supply and the associated checks carried out by a qualified electrician or under the
instruction and supervision of a qualified electrician!
The machine is operated with 400V voltage supply (400 V, 3~, 50 Hz). The use of 16 A fuses is
recommended.

15.1.1 Establishing a 400 V connection

To connect the machine to the electrical mains, proceed as follows:
 Check that the supply voltage and its frequency correspond to the specifications on the ma-
chine's nameplate.
 Use a suitable equipment to check that the ground connection and the zero connection are
working properly.
 The power supply circuit must be equipped with overvoltage protection (RCD with maximum
residual current of 30mA).
 Refer to a current carrying capacity table for the required cross-section of the power supply
cables. (Make sure that the cables are in good condition and suitable for transmitting power.
Undersized cables reduce the power transmission and heat up considerably)
 Connect the supply cables to the appropriate clamps in the input box (L1, L2, L3, N, РЕ) - see
figure below.
