Electrical connections

Caution! Some components inside the sensor are energized with voltages which can
cause lethal shocks in case of contact. The instrument needs to be switched to zero-
potential before any operation on the wiring terminal. Be careful during preparing of
operation, handling and operation of the sensor. This work is to be accomplished in
principle only by qualified technical personnel.
Before opening the cover, it must be ensured that the equipment, in which the sensor
is installed, is in a safe condition (depressurized, empty, rinse, vent, etc.).

In order to ensure optimum measurement results the following points must be considered:
Notice: The sensor InPro 8600 / D can only be used with a METTLER TOLEDO transmitter
type Trb 8300 D. The sensor InPro 8600 / W can only be used with the turbidity software
from METTLER TOLEDO. The specified voltages need to be always maintained.
Run the connection cable through the antikink protection. Connect the wires to the sensor.
Hand-tighten the cable antikink protection.
