X. PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
• A severed plug inserted into an outlet is a serious safety

• Make sure that any sectioned outlet is safely destroyed.
• Permanent connection: In the case of a permanent
connection, you must install a two-pole electrical switch. The
switch must not disconnect the yellow and green earth wire. This
appliance must be earthed.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION - DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
This appliance carries the symbol for selective sorting, related to the
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE
Directive). This means that this appliance has to be handled by a
system of selective sorting as required by the European directive
2012/19/EU in order to be either recycled or dismantled, so that
impact on environment can be reduced.
To preserve our environment and health, the disposal of electrical and
electronic appliances at the end of their life must be done according to precise
rules and requires the involvement of everyone, whether supplier or user.
For this reason, your appliance, as indicated by the symbol displayed on its
specifications label or on the packaging, must not under any circumstances be
put into a public or private rubbish bin intended for household waste.
The user has the right to dispose of the appliance in public collection places for
selective waste sorting to be either recycled or re-used for other purposes in
accordance with the directive.

Electronic products that have not been selectively sorted are potentially a
human health and/or an environment hazard due to the presence of dangerous
substances.
