IV. USE
Controlling the temperature
Start with a test:
If you feel cold air coming from the appliance when you open the door,
1 hour after having switched it on, the refrigeration system is working
properly. Both sides of the freezer should be warm during operation.
We advise you to place the appliance where the ambient temperature is
between:
- 16 and 32°C for an appliance in climatic class N
- 16 and 38°C for an appliance in climatic class ST
N.B.: To find out the climatic class of your appliance, look at the rating
label.
If the ambient temperature is above or below the recommended
temperature, the temperature inside the freezer can fluctuate.
Thermostat setting
The control panel is installed on the side of the appliance.
Turn the thermostat towards the right or the left to change the
temperature inside the freezer.
Setting at lowest position « 1 », less cold
Setting at highest position « 7 », very cold.
Turn the dial to « 0 », to turn off the compressor
Position « 4 » on the thermostat is recommended for normal conditions.
