Note: if the IP address of the router is dynamic, it can be associated to a dynamic DNS by
asking to a host service (i.e. http://www.dyndns.com/).
3. After logging in (i.e. entering username and password), check or reprogram as you wish
IMPORTANT: as concerns IT safety, all the precautions related to remote programming must
be taken by the network administrator (i.e. access possible for a few configuration PCs only).

4.4 FIRMWARE UPDATE

The control unit can be updated on the field by uploading the firmware saved in a USB pen
drive directly by means of the USB module port (see programming flowchart).
Alternatively it's possible an update through web interface, loading the firmware from PC or
connecting USB stick in the control unit (both 3DG-BOX and 3DG-BOX-PC versions); from
the web interface may be choosed if the firmware source is located on control unit USB stick
or in PC drives.
IMPORTANT: don't remove the USB pen drive during an update as the card might freeze up.
