4.1.2 Flat suction mode

In waste water pump SW 7-10 SL the filter can be
dismantled to permit operation of the pump
with reduced delivery down to a water level
of approx. 5 mm.
Procedure:

1. Release the screws fully(1)
2. Remove the screen base (2)
3. Remove the suction screen (3)

4.1.3 Fitting in shaft

Important: the satisfactory function of the float
switch must be checked without fail
with a test run every time after changing
the float fixing.

– When fitting in a collector shaft it must be ensured
that the level controller (electromechanical level
switch) has sufficient space to move freely.

– In pumps with float switches fitted:
The switching hysteresis between «Pump on»
and «Pump off» can be adjusted by changing
the cable length between fixing point and float body.
– Dimension «E» is given in the «Technical data».
– If space is limited, it is recommended to use
electrodes (conducting level switch), provided that
the medium to be pumped is conducting.
