cal device. For this reason, it is certified accor-
ding to directive 93/42/EEC on medical devices
by CERMET, Notified Body No. 0476. The certifi-
cation encompasses clinical applications.
PROGRAMMABILITY (PRO models only)
To access programmability after turning on the
device, press the Fn key for 3 seconds. The first of
the 10 free programmes available appears. Use
the P+ or P- buttons to select the number of the
programme you wish to create and press OK to
confirm. By using the P+ and P- buttons, select
the type of impulse: continuous or intermittent
--- and press OK to confirm.
CONTINUOUS IMPULSE STIMULATION ---
a) Use the P+ or P- buttons to set the phase time
duration and press OK to confirm. (Pt)
b) Use the P+ or P- buttons to set the frequency
range and press OK to confirm. (Fw)
c) Use the P+ or P- buttons to set the work impul-
se width and press OK to confirm. (Aw)
To programme only phase 1, press the Fn key for
3 seconds. The programme will thus be saved.
Press Ok to begin the treatment. To programme
other phases, repeat stages a), b) and c). Once
all the phases have been programmed, press
the Fn key for 3 seconds.
INTERMITTENT IMPULSE STIMULATION
d) Use the P+ or P- buttons to set the phase time
duration and press OK to confirm. (Pt)
e) Use the P+ or P- buttons to set the frequency
range and press OK to confirm. (Fw)
f) Use the P+ or P- buttons to set the rest fre-
quency and press OK to confirm. (Fr)

i) Use the P+ or P- buttons to set the rest time and
press OK to confirm. (rt)
