Calibrating the incline detection function:
The caravan/trailer must be in a level posi-
tion during calibration!
As soon as the caravan/trailer is level, proceed as
follows to calibrate the easydriver incline detection
function.
Calibrate step by step using the following button
combinations:
1. Caravan/trailer in a level posti-
on (this is very important)
2. Remote control switched on
(ON/OFF)
3. Press (simultaneously) buttons
a+b+c+d
4. Press button a
5. Press button d
6. Press button c
7. Press button b
The calibration process is com-
plete when you hear the signal (5
beeps)!
E6 App controller (Bluetooth module)
With the app controller, using your easydriver is a
piece of cake. All you now need to control/opera-
te your caravan/trailer is the app on a compatible
smartphone/tablet – although you can continue to
use the normal remote control too.
The easydriver app for iOS devices has been designed
for the iPhone 5S and above, running iOS software
version 11.3 or later. The app will only display in por-
trait mode and can be downloaded from the iOS App
Store.
For Android systems, the easydriver app is available
for Android version 6.0 or later. This app too will only
display in portrait mode and it can be downloaded
from the Google Play Store.
Note: The easydriver app has been tested on a wide
variety of smartphones and tablets running the very
latest software releases (iOS/Android). Reich GmbH
will continue to take reasonable steps to test the app

on various smartphone/tablet models with different
software versions. However, Reich GmbH cannot gu-
arantee that future software updates to the operating
system (iOS/Android) and by the smartphone/tablet
manufacturer will not affect the function of the app.
Should the easydriver app not work correc-
tly, close it immediately. This is the only
way to stop it communicating with the base
station. If this happens, please e-mail Reich (info@
reich-easydriver.com), stating your smartphone/tab-
let model, the operating system version (iOS/And-
roid) and the internal software.
The app controller has been designed solely to cont-
rol compatible easydriver models.
The first time you use easydriver with the easydriver
app, choose an open area with plenty of space to get
a feel for how the smartphone/tablet works with the
app functions.
Before each use, check that the smartphone/tablet
and the app controller are communicating with each
other properly by performing a quick test run with the
easydriver swivelled out (driving rollers not on the
tyres).
For the app controller to work properly and the
connection to stay reliable, the smartphone/tablet
should not be further than 5 metres away from the
caravan/trailer being manoeuvred.
Never let children play with the easydriver
app.
Check the iOS App Store or the Google Play
Store regularly for updates for the easydri-
ver app.
Make sure that your smartphone/tablet has
appropriate virus protection.
