Charging the battery pack

When using the camera for the first time, be sure to charge the NP-FW50
battery pack (supplied).
The InfoLITHIUM™ battery pack can be charged even when it has not
been fully depleted.
It can also be used when it has not been fully charged.
The charged battery pack is discharged little by little, even when you do not
use it. To avoid missing an opportunity to shoot, charge the battery pack
again before shooting.
Charging the battery pack using the battery charger

Insert the battery pack onto the
battery charger.
• Push the battery pack until it clicks.

Connect the battery charger to the
wall outlet (wall socket).
• The CHARGE lamp lights orange
when charging is started.
• The CHARGE lamp turns off when
charging is finished.
• If the CHARGE lamp lights up and
then immediately turns off, the battery
pack is fully charged.
• For countries/regions other than the
USA and Canada, connect the power
cord to the battery charger, and connect
the battery charger to the wall outlet
(wall socket).
