Charcoal filter
When fitting for the first time:
^ If your cooker hood has an operating
hours counter —, this should be
activated. Follow the separate
instructions supplied with the cooker
hood.
Chaning the charcoal filters
Always replace the charcoal filters im-
mediately if
– The charcoal filter symbol — on the
operating hours button lights up (on
cooker hoods with this feature),
or
– they are no longer effective at
absorbing kitchen odours.
They should, however, be replaced at
least every 6 months.
– Make sure that you use a stable
and secure ladder.
– Make sure that you stand on the
ladder in a safe way.

^ Open the air outlet grille downwards.
^ Hold the charcoal filter retaining grille
tightly and release the locking
mechanism.
^ Pull the grille diagonally downwards
and out.
