Note:
The Vortex
starts outside the water. For pools with an immersed beach area this system makes it possible
for the cleaner to make a 180° turn to return into the water.
WARNING:
To avoid damaging the Vortex
• At the end of the cleaning cycle the cleaner stops and the light on the control box
stays on for approximately 15 minutes. This period is the time that the motor needs
to cool and therefore avoids damage to the cleaner.
• Only remove the Vortex
• Never remove the Vortex
handle to remove the cleaner from the pool and let the water drain out from the
cleaner by keeping it vertical (Figure 6).

3.6. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

Use your Vortex
always clean and a less clogged filter basket.
The robot should be operated in pool water of the following quality: Chlorine < 2mg/l, pH
between 6.8 and 7.6, temperature between 10°C and 35°C. Do not use your robot if you are
shock treating your pool.
While the robot is operating you can turn the pool filtration system on in order to improve the ove-
rall cleaning of the swimming pool.
Clean the filter after each cleaning programme.
Never leave the cleaner in the water permanently.
At the end of each cycle remove the cleaner from the pool. Before storing the cleaner
unravel the cable starting from the cleaner.
WARNING: Disconnect the cleaner from the power supply box before cleaning or
carrying out maintenance of the cleaner and control box.

4.1. CLEANING THE FILTER

The filter must be cleaned at the end of each cycle.
REMINDER: Make sure the power supply box is disconnected from the power outlet.
