3.4. POWER SUPPLY

IMPORTANT:
• Do not use an extension cable to connect the control box.
• Do not allow bathing when the Vortex 1 cleaner is in the pool.
• Only connect the control box to a power outlet protected by a 30 mA maximum
ground fault circuit interrupter (if in doubt contact a qualified electrician).
For your safety and in order to obtain the best performance
from your Vortex
the power supply box and tighten the connector until it is
correctly housed. Do not over tighten
After having connected the control box to a power outlet the
green light shows for a short period in order to indicate that
the cycle is ready to start. Do not attempt to start your cleaner
before this indicator light comes on.
IMPORTANT:
• Your Vortex
to avoid eventual overheating due to prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
• The Vortex
watertight. Never immerse the power supply box.

3.5. OPERATION

After the cooling period the green light switches off. The robot can be removed from the pool.
The Vortex
starts outside the water. For pools with an immersed beach area this system makes it
possible for the cleaner to make a 180° turn to return into the water.
Unplug the power supply box from the power outlet.
Disconnect the cable from the control box.
At the end of each cycle, roll the cable starting from the cleaner towards the connector. Make
sure that the cable is disentangled over its entire length.
