If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with adequate size conductors
should be used to prevent excessive voltage drop, loss of power or overheating.
The table shows the correct size to use, depending on cord length and nameplate
amperage rating of tool. If in doubt, use the next heavier gauge. Always use U.L.

RIVING KNIFE
Also known as a separator or spreader. The riving knife is a metal piece slightly
thinner than the saw blade which helps keep the kerf open during cutting
operations and prevents kickback.
PUSH STICK
A device used to feed the workpiece through the saw during narrow ripping-type
operation and helps keep the operator's hands well away from the blade.
A push stick should always be used if your hand gets within 125mm (5") of
the saw blade. A push stick is a safety device that helps to keep your hands
and fingers away from the saw blade. A handle helps to apply pressure to the
workpiece whilst a notch at the front of the push stick fits onto the edge of the
wood to help push it through the saw. A push stick can be easily made from a
scrap piece of material. The push stick must be narrower than the workpiece.
Always store the push stick on its holder on the front of the table when it is
not in use.
ATTACHING THE PULL HANDLE
Locate handle onto body.
Fix handle using cross head screws supplied.
Tighten until firmly secure.
ATTACHING THE FEET
Locate the plastic feet on each corner of the base.
Fix feet using the screw, spring and flat washers supplied.
Tighten screw until feet are firmly secure.
SWITCHING THE UNIT ON AND OFF
To turn the laminate saw ON, press the top half of the ON/OFF switch (3) in.
To turn the laminate saw OFF, press the bottom half of the ON/OFF switch (3) in.
To lock the laminate saw, remove the yellow key.
