6. USING THE TOOL

WARNING
To reduce the risk of permanent eye injury, always wear
close-fitting protective eyewear with side protection.
Eyewear must be impact-rated and marked as complying
with ANSI Z87.1.
1. Check the tool and all of its components for damage or visible wear
prior to every use. Never use a tool or attachment that is worn, damaged,
or modified. (Note: expander head(s) sold separately).

Cause
If the red LED flashes two times after the battery is inserted, the electronic control
has performed its self-test satisfactorily. To repeat the self test, remove the battery,
press the operating trigger, then insert a battery into the tool.
If the red LED displays a steady light for about 20 seconds after a work operation,
the battery is empty and needs to be charged.
If the red LED slowly flashes for about 20 seconds upon completion of a work
operation, the tool needs to be serviced. The tool should be sent to a REHAU
authorized service center before use.
If the red LED lights up for 20 seconds and then flashes, the battery is empty and the
tool also needs to be serviced. The tool should be sent to a REHAU authorized service
center before use.
If the red LED flashes rapidly for about 20 seconds, the tool is overheated. Allow the
device to cool for at least 15 minutes before resuming operation.
2. Remove battery before assembling the tool. Release the battery by
pressing the button and sliding it out of the battery guide at the base of the
tool.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of serious personal injury from accidental activation of
the power tool:
- Always remove the battery pack before mounting or changing the
expander head.
