Ionisation
This hair straightener contains an ion
g enerator. Ions are naturally occurring
e lectrically charged particles.
The ionising feature reduces static in your
hair, which helps make it sleeker, softer and
shinier.
■ To switch ionisation on/off, hold down
b utton 5 for at least 1 second. The ion
generator can be used with any heat
s etting. If ionisation is activated, the
b utton glows green and a low crackling
noise can be heard.
Note: If you switch the appliance off and
then on again, ionisation is automatically
deactivated.

Cleaning and maintenance

Allow the appliance to cool and unplug it
before cleaning. Never place the appliance
into water. Do not use a steam cleaner.
