Before fi rst use
ATTENTION!
■ Risk of suffocation! Children and animals must be kept away from the packaging
material!
1. Unpack all parts and make sure that the product contents are complete (see chapter
"Product contents") and that no damage has occurred during transport. Do not use
the device if the parts are damaged (!), instead contact customer service.
2. Before you use the device, remove all packaging material and any labels located on
the device and which serve to provide protection during transport or are for advertis-
ing purposes.
Any dirt residue in the dust bin is attributed to previous testing of this device be-
fore delivery and does not constitute a defect!

Assembly

ATTENTION!
■ Before attaching or removing the accessories, make sure that the device is not at-
tached to the mains supply.

Mounting/removing attachments

During assembly, the attachments are connected and pulled out when disassembled.
1. Adapter 1 (3) must always be inserted in the suction opening (I) fi rst, that is, with
the wider end. It must not be loose!

• Removal: Push the release button (A) for the dust bin. The
dust bin (1) disconnects from the motor unit (2) and can be
removed.
• Insertion: Place the dust bin (1) on the catch located in the
bottom area of the motor unit (2). Then push the dust bin (1)
against the motor unit (2) until both parts lock into place and
are securely connected.
