6. Open the unit and press o to
turn the power on.
The language selection screen will
appear.
• Should a different screen appear,
0 for the first

• If the power cannot be turned on:
• Make sure the battery replacement switch is placed at the 'NORMAL
OPERATION' position, then press o again.
• If the power still cannot be switched on, try following steps 1 through 6 in the
above procedure again.
7. Press E (English) or F (French) to
select the desired display language (In
this English manual, E is selected.).
The LCD contrast screen will appear.
• Once selected, the display language
cannot be switched without reset
procedure.
8. Adjust the LCD contrast by using [
or ], and press e.
The key sound on/off screen will
appear.
9. Select Y or N to turn the key sound
on/off.
The Main Menu screen will appear.
• The LCD contrast and the key sound
settings can be adjusted later in the
Set-up Menu.
