  • Page 4 OPERATION BLOWER LIGHT MEDIUM Controls SWITCH SPEED BLOWER BLOWER The hood is operated using the (4) push- ON-LOW / HIGH buttons located at eye-level, on the front edge PILOT SPEED of the hood. LAMP SWITCH The light switch turns the lights on and off. The blower on-low / off switch turns the blower on to its lowest running speed.
  • Page 5 MAINTENANCE Grease Filters The grease filters should be cleaned fre- quently. Use a warm detergent solution. Grease filters are dishwasher safe. See “Install Filter” section for installation and removal instructions. GREASE FILTERS Ductfree Filters The ductfree filters should be changed every 6 months. See “Install Filter” section for installation and removal instructions.

  • Page 7 INSTALL THE DUCTWORK ROOF CAP 6” ROUND DUCT Ducted configuration only. NOTE: To reduce the risk of fire, use only metal ductwork. 1. Decide where the ductwork will run between DECORATIVE 6” ROUND the hood and the outside. FLUE ELBOW EAVE 2.
  • Page 8 Hood must be mounted a minimum of 24” above the cooktop. A maximum of 30” is recommended for best capture of cooking impurities. Dis- tances over 30” are at the user’s discretion. LOWER 3. Adjust the overall height of the support frame.
  • Page 9 INSERT SUPPORT FRAME UPPER SUPPORT FRAME 1. Attach the support frame assembly to the ceiling with (4) washers and (4) 6 x 70mm mounting screws. Make sure the “UP” ar- row is pointed towards the ceiling. The side marked “FRONT” must align with the range hood’s control panel.
