TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The empty water tank icon
is lit
The adapter icon is lit
The Descaling icon is lit
The bean icon is lit
Coffee is not warm enough
The quality of the milk froth
is not good enough
Coffee comes out slowly
Water is leaking from the
machine
FAULT
The water tank is empty
The adapter is not in place, or it is
not placed correctly
The machine needs descaling. This
alarm goes off automatically after
50L of coffee brewing, or 5000s of
milk foaming.
The bean hopper is empty
Cold coffee cup
Not descaled
Wrong type of milk
Milk box is not placed correctly
Not rinsed after last use
Not descaled
Flow depends on the coffee variety
Not descaled
Too much water in the drip tray
The water tank is not properly
attached to the machine

SOLUTION
Fill the water tank with fresh
water. Do not exceed the
MAX line.
Open the lever completely,
take out the adapter and
insert it again.
Read the descaling instru-
ctions.
Refill the bean hopper with
coffee beans.
Preheat the coffee cup with
warm water.
Descale the machine.
Use cold (4 degrees) skim-
med or semi skimmed cow
milk.
Install the milk box
correctly, make sure all
components are correctly
assembled.
Rinse after each milk pre-
paration.
Descale the machine.
Choose a more course
grind setting, or another
type of coffee capsule.
Descale the machine.
Empty the tray.
Re-attach the water tank.
