Installation of the fire (seefigure 1)
1.Remove the wall bracketat the backside ofthe apparatusby removingthe two screws with whichthe wall bracketisattached.
2.Mountthewallbracket o nthewallusing thesupplied plugsandscrews f orconcrete walls. M ake sure thatit isspiritlevel.
3.Hang theapparatus fromthemounted w allbracket. Turn thesafety m ounting bracket atthebottom oftheproduct i nsuch awaythat
themounting holeisvisible. Mark thelocation o fthishole andremove t heapparatus fromthewall. D rill a hole andplace apluginthe
wall in the indicated position.
4.Hang t heapparatus back o nthewall b racket attached tothewall. S ecure theapparatus bymeans ofascrew through t hesafety
mounting bracket
Make sure that the fire is OFF:
Insertthe plug of the fire into a wall socket.
You have to fill thewaterreservoir b efore youuse thecontrol k nobs(see 'Maintenance', ' Fillingthewaterreservoir').

Switch A': This is the main switch of the fire.
Remark: Thisswitchmustbe inthe 'ON'( I ) position,because the fire will not workotherwise.
Switc h 'B': P ush once totumon theflameeffect. The heating w illremain o ff. T hisis i ndicated byasinglebeep.AIthough
lamps will work immediately, it takesanother 30secondsbefore the flame effect startsto function.
Push again tocombine theflame effect withtheheating o n50% ofthecapacity. This isindicated bytwobeeps.
Push again tocombine t heflame effect w iththeheating onmaximum capacity. This isindicated b ythreebeeps.
Push again to retumto onlytheflameeffect. T hisisindicated byasingle beep.
Push d) toset t hefireonstandby. This isindicated byasingle beep.
Controlknob'C':regulates the settingof the thermostat.
Turning theknobtowards y oulowers thetemperature setting. Turning t heknobaway fromyouincreases thetemperature
setting.
Controlknob D': regulates the intensityof the flameandthe smokeeffectwhenthefire isturned on.
Tuming t hecontrol knob towards youreduces theintensity oftheflame and thesmoke effect. Turning thecontrol knob away
fromyou increases the intensityof the flameandthe smokeeffect.
Ifthewater r eservoir isempty, themain lamps w illturn off.See t heinstruction in'Maintenance',
procedur e iscompleted, themain lamps w ill t urnon,butittakes a nother 30seconds before t heflames w illtumonagain.
Setting the thermostat
Inser t thepluginthewall s ocket and putthefireinthehighest heating p osition. Tum thecontrol knob 'C' c ompletely away f rom you
(maximu m temperature setting) to heat t heroom quickly. Once theroomhas reached thedesired t emperature, youtunthethermostat
knobslowly towards youuntilyouhear aclick. T hisindicates t hatthethermostat has turnedoff.Thethermostat o fthefireensures t hat
the roomtemperaturestaysat the selectedlevel.

Thermal safeguard
