If the appliance is damaged, contact your supplier before you install it and use it.
Neveruse the appliance outdoors or in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower or swimming pool.
Dont install the fire under a fixed wall socket or junction box.
This appliance is not intended for use by children or other persons without assistance or supervision if their
physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not use this heater in series with a thermal control, a program controller, a timer or any other device that
switches on the heat automatically, since a fire risk exists when the heater is accidentally covered or displaced.
Ensure that furniture, curtains or other combustible material are positioned no closer than 1 metre from the
heater.
Removethe plug from the wall socket if it is damagedor if the fire will not be used for a long time.
Although this heater complies with safety standards, we do not recommend its use on deep pile carpets or on
long hair type of rugs.
The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
Keepthe mains lead away from the front of the fire and replace it if it is visibly damaged.

Use onlywaterwitha hardness o f maximum I OdH. Askyourwatercompany w hatisthehardness o fyourtapwater. D ecalcify
the wateror usedemineralised water in caseof a higher levelof hardness.
Ifyoudon'tusethefirefor 2weeks or longer, w eadvise youto remove thewaterfromthereceptacle a ndthefillingtankand
to dry the receptacle.
Once thefireisin use,it maynotbemoved orseton itsbackwithoutremoving thewaterfromthereceptacle a ndthewater
tank.
Thewatertank,receptacle, receptacle c over, t ank coverandair filtersshouldbe cleaned oncea fortnight- in the case of
intensiveuseof morethan 2 hoursperdaythey shouldbecleanedweekly.
Never use the apparatus if the lamps do not work.
Thelamps shouldbechecked r egularly asdescribed in 'Maintenance' and'Replacing t helamps'.
Installation
Make sure thatall packaging i sremoved. (Read thewaminglabels carefully.)
Savethe packaging for any future use.
Make sure that the apparatus is spirit-level mounted on the wall.
