6.3.1. Adjusting the user parameters
All the parameters are displayed via the display on
the frequency converter. You can use the button
beneath the display for menu control and to
change the values.

The user parameters can be displayed and
changed in standby mode and during operation.
Use the arrow keys to switch between individual
parameters. Click the "+" and "-" keys to modify
a value.
Normal operation: During normal operation, the
1.
display shows the pressure currently measured
and a bar graph shows the motor's current speed.
Standby mode: If the pump is in standby mode or
2.
if the electrical power supply is interrupted, the
display shows the last pressure measured and the
words "Stand-by". There is no automatic activa-
tion in standby mode.
3.
Pmax: The Pmax value is used to set the desired
pressure for the system. The set pressure is avail-
able at all the taps.
Language: You set the desired user language

here. You have a choice of several languages.
6.3.2. Adjusting the installation parameters
All the parameters are displayed via the display on
the frequency converter. You can use the button
beneath the display for menu control and to
change the values.

The installation parameters are not displayed in
the menu during normal operation and are only
required during installation. To access these menu
items, you have to switch the pump to standby
mode. Then press and hold down both the "+"
and "-" buttons together for five seconds.

button.
See the table in the appendix for the possible
setting range and the recommended setting for
each function.
1.
Delta P: When you open a tap, the pressure in the
system drops. The "Delta P" differential pressure
can be set to prevent the pump from starting
each time a tap is opened. This value specifies
the difference from "Pmax" at which the pump is
switched on (Pmax - Delta P = pump starts).
Follow-up time: With this value, you specify how
2.
long the pump continues to run once all the taps
have been closed. In addition, by raising the value
you can ensure balanced operating characteristics
(e.g. if the pump is switched on and off frequent-
ly).
Auto reset interval: In the event of low water,
3.
the built-in dry-running protection activates and
switches the system off. By setting this value, you
specify the time after which an automatic restart
begins. If there is now enough water available, the
fault is deleted and the system returns to normal
operation. If there is still not enough water, a new
restart attempt takes place once the set time
elapses.
Auto reset attempts: By setting this value, you
4.
specify how many times an auto reset is carried
out. If this value is exceeded, the user has to
acknowledge the fault manually before the sys-
tem is switched back on. Setting the value to "0"
deactivates the auto reset function.
5.
Starts/h: Leakage in the piping can lead to
pressure losses. This results in the pump being
switched on constantly. By setting this value, you
specify how many times per hour the pump is
allowed to start. This only includes starts followed
by water extraction of no more than 2.5 l/min.
You can switch this monitoring function off by
selecting "OFF".
Direction of rotation: changes the direction of
6.
rotation.
PID monitoring: By setting this value, you specify
7.
the system's response speed to pressure changes.
A lower value results in a slower but more precise
response to changes. A higher value results in
a faster response to pressure changes.
Freq. min: This value specifies the minimum
8.
frequency of feeding of the pump. The value is
expressed as a percentage in reference to the
maximum frequency.
9.
Imax: By setting this value, you define the maxi-
mum current consumption during normal opera-
tion. If consumption exceeds this value or if it falls
below 0.5 A, the pump is switched off. If the value
0.5 A is set during installation, the "Imax" limit
value has to be specified each time the pump is
switched on. The pump only starts once the limit
value has been entered.
The set "Imax" value must not exceed the rated
current specified on the rating plate. A higher
value would result in overloading and irrepara-
ble damage to the pump!
