2. Install the Software
l. Close all programs.
2. Insertthe HPImage ZoneCD that is appropriate for
your language and operating system.
Windows: Insert CD I and follow the on-screen
instructions.Depending on your systemconfiguration,
you may be instructedto insertCD 2. If the installation
does not start automatically:On the Start menu,click
Runand type: D:setup.exe(where D is the letter of the
CD-ROM drive).
Note: To determine which scanner software to install,
see the on-screen installation instructions and the User's
Manual.
Macintosh: Install CD 2 and double click the installer
icon on the CD.
3. Connect the Scanner in the
Order Shown
1. Connectthe USBcable to the scannerand to your
computer.
2. Connectthe TMA cable to its port on the back of
the scanner.
3. Connectthe power supply to the scannerand then
plug it into a surge protectoror grounded wall
outlet. The scanner turns on.
4. To Scan
Pictures and documents
I. Placethe orginal face down on the scannerglass as
indicated by the referencemark on the scanner.
2. Press the scan button and follow the on-screen
instructions.
Slidesand negatives
I. Insertslidesor negativesinto the TMA. (Seethe
User'sManual for details).
2. Press the scan button and follow the on-screen
instructions.
Scanner Buttons
Scan—Sendsthe scan to the HPImage Zone
(photos)or to a chosendestination (documents).
Copy —Sendsthe scan to a printer.
HP Instant Share — Scans the item and allows
you to send it in e-mail, create an album on the
HP Photowebsite, or order high quality prints.

3. Procédure de connexion du scanner
