Installation of the equipment

Microscope and illumination unit
Place the stereo microscope on the saddle bearing of the mi-
croscope arm. Move it forward against the stop piece and se-
cure with the screw (87) appearing from obliquely below (use
the Allen key 5 mm).
Secure the breath shield (89) by means of the knurled screw
(88) on the inner side of the bearer arm.
Before attaching the illumination unit to the column of the in-
strument base, the set screw (91) in the hub of the bearer arm
is to be sufficiently loosened so that its tip no longer protrudes
into the drill hole.
Grasp the illumination unit arm (90) as shown and place in
position.
Tighten the set screw (91) in the hub of the bearer arm with
the small screwdriver.
