7.2 Troubleshooting

Before checking the meter itself for defects, check the fol-
lowing points:

Are the stop valves completely open?

Is the pipe clear (where appropriate clean any dirt
traps)?
ƒ
Is the meter rating correct?
ƒ
Is the direction arrow on the flow sensor in the flow
direction of the heating medium?
If you have checked the specified points and the
meter is still malfunctioning, then please email us
(including serial number, meter type, article num-
ber) with a detailed fault description and, where
necessary, a photo.
Detailed information about testing can be found
in the corresponding inspection and testing
instruction.
