5.5 Funktion OUTRO
– nicht möglich für Titel im MP3-/WMA-Format –

Die Funktion OUTRO dient zum Abspielen der je-
weils letzten 30 Sekunden aller folgenden Titel.

1) Zum Einschalten der Funktion die Taste CONT./
SINGLE–OUTRO (10) ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt
halten, bis der Bargraph (f) auf folgende Darstel-
lung wechselt:
2) Den gewünschten Titel anwählen (siehe Kap.
5.1.1). Steht der CD-Spieler auf Pause, die Wie-
dergabe mit der Taste
30 Sekunden des Titels werden abgespielt.
3) Zum Ausschalten der Funktion OUTRO die Taste
CONT./SINGLE–OUTRO erneut ca. 3 Sekun-
den gedrückt halten, bis der Bargraph wieder zu
seiner vorherigen Darstellungsart zurückkehrt.
[Die Funktion schaltet sich auch aus, wenn die
Taste TIME/ STOP (11) einmal angetippt wird.]
5.6 Schneller Vor- und Rücklauf
1) Zum Umschalten des Drehrads auf die Funktion
„schneller Vor-/Rücklauf" die Taste SEARCH/
SKIP (6) einmal kurz drücken. Bei aktivierter
Funktion leuchtet die LED neben der Taste und
im Display erscheint „Search" in der Textzeile (k).
2) Das Drehrad (5) drehen: Bei Drehen im Uhrzei-
gersinn wird auf der CD vorgefahren; bei Drehen
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn wird auf der CD zu-
rückgefahren. Die Vor- und Rücklaufgeschwin-
digkeit hängt von der Drehgeschwindigkeit des
Rads ab.
3) Zum Deaktivieren der Funktion „schneller Vor-/
Rücklauf" die Taste SEARCH/SKIP (6) zweimal
kurz drücken: „Search" wird im Display ausge-
blendet und die LED neben der Taste erlischt.
Hinweise:
a Bei Audio-CDs wird im Pausenmodus nach
einem Vor-/Rücklauf die momentane Stelle stän-
dig wiederholt (außer wenn über den Rücklauf
der Titelanfang erreicht wurde), bis die Wieder-

5.6 Fast forward and reverse
1) To switch the rotary wheel to the function "fast
forward and reverse", shortly press the button
SEARCH/SKIP (6) once. With activated function,
the LED next to the button lights up and the dis-
play shows "Search" in the text line (k).
2) Turn the rotary wheel (5): As long as the wheel is
turned clockwise, the unit advances on the CD;
as long as it is turned counter-clockwise, the unit
reverses on the CD. The forward or reverse
speed depends on the turning speed of the
wheel.
3) To deactivate the function "fast forward/reverse",
shortly press the button SEARCH/SKIP (6)
twice: "Search" will disappear in the display and
the LED next to the button will be extinguished.
Notes:
a For audio CDs, after a forward/reverse, the cur-
rent spot is continuously repeated in the pause
mode (unless the title beginning has been

5.7 Framegenaues Anfahren einer Stelle
– nicht möglich für Titel im MP3-/WMA-Format –
Im Pausenmodus kann mit dem Drehrad (5) eine
Stelle auf der CD framegenau (1 Frame =
kunde) angefahren werden:

oder die Taste CUE (16) bzw. CUE 1 (9) zweimal
angetippt wird.
5.8 Geschwindigkeit und Tonhöhe verändern
Die Geschwindigkeit und damit gleichzeitig die Ton-
höhe („pitch") lassen sich mit dem Schieberegler
PITCH CONTROL (14) ändern. Es sind zwei Ein-
stellbereiche verfügbar: max. ±8% und max. ±16%
Abweichung von der Standardgeschwindigkeit.
Als Grundeinstellung ist nach dem Einschalten
immer der Bereich „±8%" gewählt und der Regler
PITCH CONTROL ist aktiviert. Dies wird durch
Leuchten der LED „8%" (13) angezeigt.

5.8 Changing the speed and pitch
The speed and at the same time the pitch can be
changed with the sliding control PITCH CONTROL
(14). There are two adjusting ranges available: max.
±8% and max. ±16% deviation from the standard
speed.
As a basic setting after switching on, the range
"±8%" is always selected and the PITCH CONTROL
is activated. This is shown by lighting of the LED
"8%" (13).
1) To switch between both adjusting ranges, shortly
press the button SELECT/ON–OFF (12). The

zeigt das Display die Anzahl der Taktschläge pro
Minute (j) an, die sich bei Verstellen des Schie-
bereglers entsprechend ändert.
3) Zum Deaktivieren des Reglers PITCH CON-
TROL die Taste SELECT/ON–OFF länger drü-
cken, bis die jeweilige LED „8%" oder „16%"
blinkt. Der Titel läuft dann mit Standardgeschwin-
digkeit, unabhängig von der Stellung des Reglers
und von der Geschwindigkeitsanzeige im Dis-
play. Um die Reglereinstellung wieder zu aktivie-
ren, die Taste SELECT/ON–OFF einmal antip-
pen.
5.8.1 Takt zwischen 2 Musikstücken angleichen
(„Pitch Bend")
Mit den Tasten PITCH BEND (19) kann der Takt
eines Titels auf dem Laufwerk 1 an den Takt eines
Titels auf dem Laufwerk 2 angepasst werden oder
umgekehrt.
1) Zuerst mit dem Regler PITCH CONTROL (14)
die Geschwindigkeit des laufenden Musikstückes
an die Geschwindigkeit des zweiten Musikstü-
ckes angleichen.
2) Mit den Tasten PITCH BEND die Taktschläge bei-
der Musikstücke genau übereinander legen: so-
lange die Taste – oder + gedrückt gehalten wird,
läuft der Titel um 16 % langsamer bzw. schneller
als mit Standardgeschwindigkeit und die Ge-
schwindigkeitsanzeige (h) im Display blinkt.
3) Durch Drehen des Drehrads (5) kann ebenfalls
eine Geschwindigkeitsänderung zur Taktanpas-
sung erfolgen. Dazu darf das Drehrad nicht auf
„schnellen Vor-/Rücklauf" oder „schnelle Titelan-
wahl" geschaltet sein [LED neben der Taste
SEARCH/SKIP (6) leuchtet bzw. blinkt]. Ist dies
der Fall, die Taste SEARCH/SKIP so oft antip-
pen, bis die LED daneben erlischt.
2) Change the speed with the PITCH CONTROL
(14). The display shows the percentage deviation
(h) from the standard speed.
If the manual beat counter has been activated
with the button BPM/TAB (20) [see chapter
5.2.2], the display indicates the number of beats
per minute (j) which will change correspondingly
when readjusting the sliding control.
3) To deactivate the PITCH CONTROL, press the
button SELECT/ON–OFF longer until the re-
spective LED "8%" or "16%" flashes. Then the
title is played at standard speed, regardless of the
position of the control and of the speed indication
in the display. To activate the control adjustment
again, shortly press the button SELECT/ON–
OFF once.
5.8.1 Matching the beat between 2 music pieces
("Pitch Bend")
With the buttons PITCH BEND (19) it is possible to
synchronize the beat of a title on player mechanism
1 to the beat of a title on player mechanism 2 or vice
versa.
1) First match the speed of the current music piece
to the speed of the second music piece with the
PITCH CONTROL (14).
2) Synchronize the beats of both music pieces with
the buttons PITCH BEND: as long as the button –
or + is kept pressed, the title is played by 16 %
faster or slower than at standard speed and the
speed indication (h) in the display flashes.
3) By turning the rotary wheel (5), the speed can
also be changed for matching the beat. For this
purpose the rotary wheel must not be switched to
"fast forward/reverse" or "fast title selection"
[LED next to the button SEARCH/SKIP (6) lights
up or flashes]. If so, shortly press the button
SEARCH/SKIP so many times until the LED next
to it is extinguished.
