Cautionary points on the use of vacuum therapy devices.
If you have symptoms of erectile dysfunction, (i.e. inability to
achieve an erection that is sufficient for sexual intercourse),
consult your physician prior to using this device to avoid a
potentially harmful delay in diagnosing any of the most common
causes of this condition, such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis,
cirrhosis of the liver, chronic renal failure or alcoholism.
•
Use the minimum amount of vacuum necessary to achieve an
erection. This will prevent bruising.
•
Stop drawing vacuum if pain occurs. Release the pressure with
the pressure release valve.
•
Caution is advised when using a vacuum pump following removal
of a penile implant because of possible surgical scarring and
subsequent impairment.
•
Misuse of a vacuum pump may aggravate already existing
medical conditions such as Peyronie's disease, priapism and
urethral stricture.
•
Misuse of the vacuum pump could result in swelling of the penis
and / or permanent injury.
•
Use of the vacuum pump may bruise or cause rupture of the
blood vessels immediately below the surface of the skin or within
the deep structures of the penis or scrotum, which may produce
hemorrhage or hematoma.
•
If any problems occur, discontinue the use of the vacuum pump
and consult your physician.
•
Do not use the vacuum pump while under the influence of alcohol
or drugs.

How the Rapport™ Classic V.T.D. Works
An erection is created by means of a vacuum, which draws blood into
the penis. The erection is maintained by placing a constriction ring at the
base of the penis, which ensures that the blood remains in the penis until
the ring is removed.
The constriction ring should be a snug, comfortable fit without being
too tight.
The use of the Rapport™ Classic V.T.D. is not intended to replace your
doctor's diagnosis of the underlying cause of your impotence, but to
help achieve and maintain an erection. It is always best to discuss your
individual situation with a doctor when using this treatment.

Studies have shown that by the use of
vacuum devices, in excess of 80% of men
are able to achieve a degree of penile
tumescence sufficient to allow completion
of sexual intercourse.

Initially it may take some practice to familiarize yourself with the
Rapport™ Classic V.T.D., so please take the time to read this instruction
book, and to practice the technique of creating and maintain your
erection, before you attempt sexual intercourse.
A demonstration DVD is included. Watching the DVD, particularly with your
partner, may help you achieve success more quickly. The DVD shows a
live model demonstrating the Rapport™ Classic V.T.D. but is not intended
to be a substitute for reading the following instructions. This may be
offensive to some people.
Practice Really Does Make Perfect
If you have not had an erection for some time, you may not be able to
create one initially. It may take several practice sessions to achieve an
erection for the first time.
If you have not had a firm usable erection for more than one year, you
may need additional practice.
