1 Operating Elements
and Connections
1.1 Microphone IRS-2..HT
1 IR transmitter
2 Power switch: keep pressed for a while;
the lighting colour will indicate the battery status:
green = sufficient; red = low
3 3.5 mm input jack to connect a tie clip / headband
microphone or a unit with line signal level (e. g.
MP3 player),
when the jack is connected, the internal micro-
phone will be deactivated
4 Mute button
lower position (MUTE) = sound off
upper position (TALK) = sound on
5 Inside the battery compartment: Switch to select
the IR transmission channel
Channel A (2.3 MHz), factory-set on IRS-200HT
Channel B (2.8 MHz), factory-set on IRS-202HT
6 Inside the battery compartment: Switch to select
the transmission power: HI or LOW
7 Latch of the battery compartment cover: to
unlock the cover, push the latch towards the
microphone head

8 Bracket for wall / ceiling mounting via four drill

9 F standard jack to connect one of the SENSOR

1.3.2 Rear panel

20 Control MASTER for the total volume
21 Control TONE to adjust the sound
22 F standard jacks to connect up to two external
IR sensors IRS-200IR to extend the IR trans-
mission range
23 Volume control for the input AUX IN (27)
24 Volume control for the input MIC IN (26)
25 Mono output with line signal level (via 3.5 mm
stereo jack) to route the mixed signal, e. g. to a
second active speaker system
Note: The controls MASTER (20) and TONE (21) will
not affect the AUX OUT signal.
26 Input MIC IN (via 6.3 mm mono jack) to connect
a microphone
27 Input AUX IN (via 3.5 mm stereo jack) to con-
nect an audio source with line output level, e. g.
CD player
28 LED CHARGE: will light up when the active
speaker system has been connected to a mains
socket via the power supply unit
red: battery being charged;
green: battery fully charged
29 POWER switch: will light up during operation;
if it starts flashing during battery operation,
recharge the battery
30 Low voltage jack DC IN to connect the power
supply unit provided
31 Cover of the battery compartment
