Basic Trimmer
As a safety feature. this trimmer/edger requires
the trigger lockout button to be drepressed prior
to squeezing the trigger. (See Figure 15)

This tool is designed to trim grass and weeds
with ease. Follow the steps below to start and
stop the trimmer.

While grasping the rear handle, with the
other hand. depress the trigger lockout
button. (See figure 18)

Squeeze trigger, the trimmer
immediately.

TRIMMING

To reduce excessive line wear and improve
trimming performance, follow the steps below
to trim grass and weeds.
Remove any string, wire, or other materials
that could become entang ed in the trim-
mer/edger from the trimming area.
2.
Hold trimmer/edger
using both front and
rear handles (See Figure 20).
3.
Slowly sweep the trimmer/edger flom side
to side or front
to back.
4.
Do not force the trimmer/edger.
only the tip of the trimmer/edger
cut the grass or weeds.
5.
If grass or weeds are tall, cut them in
several increments, staning from the top
and working to the bottom.
