"Default router": This is the gateway to forward images to a different subnet. An invalid entry router setting
will prohibit forwarding the images. If you are using a crosslink cable you have to enter an IP address within
the same range as of the network camera (like 192.168.0.1).
"Primary DNS": Main domain server name. The server translates the host name into an IP address
"Secondary DNS": Secondary domain server name. Acts as backup to main domain server is this is not
available.
„Enable UPnP presentation": Here you can activate Universal Plug and Play. Your operating system has to
support UPnP in order to directly connect to the network camera (Windows XP: network places)
Ensure this option is always enabled. UPnP is used for searching the IP camera within eytron
VMS.
„Enable UPnP port forwarding": Here you can activate Universal Plug and Play port forwarding. If your
router supports UPnP port forwarding, all necessary ports for the network camera communication will be
automatically forwarded.
„PPPoE": Activate this setting if your network camera is directly connected to a DSL modem. User name and
password you will receive from your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

6.5.2 HTTP

"HTTP port": The default setting is 80. You can change the port to the range 1025 - 65535. After changing the
HTTP port the user has to be informed in order to connect to the camera.
Example: If you change the port of IP address 192.168.0.99 from 80 to 8080, the user has to enter instead of
"http://192.168.0.99" now "http://192.168.0.99:8080" in the web browser.
„Secondary HTPP port": Additional port in order to connect to the camera.
To directly connect to single video streams via the web following names can be set up. In order for non
ActiveX compatible browsers, like Firefox or Netscape, to receive a video stream JPEG images are
transmitted.
„Access name for stream 1": Connection name for MJPEG stream 1
„Access name for stream 2": Connection name for MJPEG stream 2
„Access name for stream 3": Connection name for MJPEG stream 3
„Access name for stream 4": Connection name for MJPEG stream 4
„Access name for stream 5": Connection name for MJPEG stream 5
Stream 5 is reserved for the usage of URL commands (see appendix).
NOTICE: The Internet Explorer does not support the display of MJPEG images.
