2. The tool uses sanding discs which are fastened by a
nut to the backing pad on the mandrel.
3. Prior to attaching the sanding disc, make sure the
backing pad is free of dirt, dust and foreign matter.
4. To attach the sanding disc, simply align the sanding
disc on the backing pad. Screw on the nut to fix the
sanding disc in place.
OPERATION
1. Connect the tool to its air source.
2. Turn the tool on. Wait until it has reached maximum
speed before placing it onto the work piece. Make
sure the surface you will be working on is free of
any debris before placing the running sanding disc
onto the surface.
3. Move the tool slowly using a circular motion.
4. Do not put additional pressure on the die grinder.
This will slow down the speed of the pad and
reduce sanding efficiency, as well as put an
additional burden on the tool.
5. Always remove the tool from the work piece before
shutting the tool off.
MAINTENANCE
Before making any adjustments or changing accessories,
turn off the tool and disconnect it from its power source.
1. Keep the vent passage clear from dirt. Clean off the
accumulated dust and oil dirt periodically. Clean the
tool after each use.
2. During normal operation, if anything happens, the
power supply should be cut off at once and the tool
should be checked and repaired.
