Anti Overfoaming System
Die DOC Skimmer verfügen über eine sehr hohe
Luftkapazität und zeigen deswegen eine hohe Sensibilität
für Proteine. Das patentierte „Anti Overfoaming System"
vermeidet das Überkochen des Abschäumers, dies
kommt zum Beispiel vor bei:
Zu hohe organische Last beim Sterben eines größeren
Tieres.
Neu eingerichtete Aquarien mit lebenden Steinen.
Erhöhung des Wasserstands im Filterbecken.
Zugabe von flüssigen Zusätzen, Einsetzen von Korallen,
etc.
Das „Anti Overfoaming System" wird anhand von drei
Betriebszuständen beschrieben:
(A) Normale Schaumproduktion: der Schaum steigt
gleichmäßig in den Schaumreaktor, das Wasserniveau
steht optimal für die maximale Abschäumleistung.
Anti-overfoaming system
The DOC Skimmers have a very high air capacity and
thus are highly sensitive to proteins. The patented
"anti-overfoaming system" prevents overfoaming of the
skimmer, which occurs, for example, in case of:
Excessively high organic load when a larger animal dies.
Newly arranged aquariums with live rock.
Increase of the water level in the filter tank.
Addition of liquid additives, placement of corals, et
cetera.
The "anti-overfoaming system" is described by means of
three operating conditions:
(A) Normal foam production: The foam rises constantly
into the foam reactor; all water levels are ideal for a
maximum skimming performance.

Les DOC Skimmer possèdent une grande capacité en
air et de ce fait une haute sensibilité aux protéines. Le
principe breveté „Anti Overfoaming System" évite une
ébullition de l'écumeur pouvant se produire dans les cas
suivants:
Charge organique trop élevée suite à la décomposition
d'un organisme.
Aquarium nouvellement installé avec des pierres
vivantes brutes.
Elévation du niveau de l'eau dans la filtration.
Ajout de produits liquides, mise en place de coraux, etc.
Le principe „Anti Overfoaming System" se décrit en trois
phases:
(A) Production normale d'écume : l'écume monte
régulièrement dans le réacteur, tous les niveaux d'eau
sont à l'optimal pour une puissance en air maximale.
