Care and maintenance

To prevent any risk of seizing of the valve, regular inspections are necessary.
The M/F 40 mm 3/8" brass fitting allows the level controller mechanism to be dismantled without having access
to the outside of the controller body. However, it is essential to hold the brass fitting with a wrench when
dismantling the level controller system, so that the two components do not rotate at the same time. If the
brass fitting were to turn, this could loosen the nut on the outside of the body, creating a leak where it passes
through the wall.
