22. Safety Instructions

1. Do not use the device in an enclosed space where dangerous carbon monoxide can
accumulate.
2. Mow only in daylight or under good artificial light.
3. If possible, avoid using the device in humid conditions.
4. Make sure that you have a firm stand on hangers.
5. Never run with the device, but walk.
6. Always mow crossways with the device on slopes and not up and down.
7. Be especially careful when changing direction.
8. Do not mow excessively steep slopes.
9. Be especially careful when mowing backward or in your direction.
10. Turn off the engine if the mower needs to be tilted due to transportation to move it to
another mowing area.
11. Never use the device with defective protective shields or without protective devices,
such as slipped discharge chutes or cuttings catcher.
12. Do not change the engine settings or increase the speed.
13. Disconnect the blades and tighten the starter cord slightly before starting the engine.
