Stand-by
> Press the Power button briefly to put the unit in stand-by mode
(switch off the display screen) during use.
Pressing the Power button briefly again will wake up the unit.

09. TAKING PICTURES/VIDEOS

The Merlin-35 (2020) has an internal memory for pictures and
videos. Saving pictures and videos requires the WiFi function to be
activated.

Recording videos
> Press and hold the
Video recording begins.
> Press and hold the button again to stop recording.
The display shows the running time of the video in the top left-hand
corner.
Transferring pictures and videos
You can transfer the stored pictures and videos to an external
device.
> Connect the switched-on Merlin-35 (2020) (with activated
WiFi function) to a computer, laptop etc. using the supplied
micro-USB cable.
The Merlin-35 (2020) is now recognised as an external storage me-
dium (link card camera) and you can move and delete the files.
There is an app that also gives you mobile access to the camera
(see section WiFi function).
