On stage, 60-watts of power drive the 12-inch
woofer and piezo horn for full-spectrum
response. The unique tilt-back cabinet design
of the Bassman 60 affords direct and clear
listening
useful

rehearsing at low volumes.
LIMITER circuit prevents excessive distortion at
peak volumes and the ENHANCE switch
modifies the mid-frequency contour producing a
"fatter" sound.

A. INPUT - Input jack for bass guitars.
B. INPUT PASSIVE/ACTIVE -
most bass guitars (PASSIVE). Switch IN for
bass guitars with pre-amps (ACTIVE).
C. VOLUME - Adjusts the speaker loudness.
D. PRE-AMP CLIP LED - Indicates clipping (dis-
tortion) in the pre-amplifier. If undesirable dis-
tortion is heard when this LED illuminates,
reduce VOLUME {C} level.
E. ENHANCE - Switch IN modifies the middle-fre-
quency contour, useful for slap-style and deep-
toned bass playing. Switch OUT turns OFF
ENHANCE, useful for finger-style bass playing.
F. BASS - Adjusts the level (boost/cut) of the low-
frequency range.
G. MID LEVEL - Adjusts the level (boost/cut) of
the middle-frequency range that has been
selected by the MID FREQ {H} control.
H. MID FREQ - Selects the middle-frequency
range for the MID LEVEL {G} knob to adjust.

balanced XLR LINE-OUT jack for a superior
signal-to-noise ratio.

The Bassman 60 was designed to sound great

with its four tone controls pointing straight-up, but
why settle for great? Semi-parametric equaliza-
tion of the middle range is controlled by two
knobs; with the MID-FREQUENCY knob, select
the frequency that the MID-LEVEL knob boosts or
cuts!
Plug in external effects devices to the
EFFECTS LOOP jacks on the Rear Panel of the
Bassman 60 for unlimited sonic options.

I. TREBLE - Adjusts the level (boost/cut) of the
high-frequency range.
J. MUTE - Switch IN disables all amplifier outputs
(including speakers) except TUNER output.
Switch OUT for normal amplifier operation.
K. MUTE LED - Flashes when MUTE {J} switch is IN.
L. PWR-AMP CLIP LED - Indicates clipping (dis-
tortion) in the power-amplifier. If undesirable
distortion is heard when this LED illuminates,
switch IN the LIMITER {M}.
M. LIMITER - Switch IN prevents excessive clip-
ping (distortion) in the power-amplifier.
N. POWER LED - Illuminates when the
POWER SWITCH {O} is ON and the unit is
receiving power.
