Warranty conditions and warranty limitations
Requirements for a 24-month warranty claim
•
The warranty is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase
•
Only the original guarantee certificate in connection with the original purchase receipt is valid
•
The entitlement is not transferable
•
Use of the device for private use only
•
In commercial use or rental business, the guarantee is reduced to 12 months
•
Proper handling and observance of all the instructions in the operating instructions manual are
required
•
Claims for spare parts or other claims for compensation beyond the warranty claim are excluded
•
The guarantee claim for any technical defects must be asserted immediately, at the latest before
the end of the guarantee period
•
Devices that are sent in without a defect, warranty claim, or repair order will be returned at cost of
sender
•
Devices sent freight collect will not be accepted. These are returned to the sender
•
Shipping costs are always at the expense of the sender
No guarantee and no liability claim (guarantee and liability disclaimer)
•
Missing certificate of warranty.
•
Transit damage (postal route / notify relevant post office immediately).
•
Improper use / use for purposes other than intended.
•
Negligent operation.
•
Normal wear and tear.
•
External influences / damage from fall / overvoltage of more than 260 VAC / undervoltage of less
than 200 VAC,
•
Energy supply by non-compatible appliances such as inverter / converter / electricity generators.
•
Incorrect power terminal / extra-low voltage / high-voltage current / direct current.
•
Repairs not carried out by the sole agency.
•
Unauthorised changes to design.
•
Interventions in the appliance by opening it.
•
When repairs of any kind are carried out, the entire warranty period is cancelled and the right to
make claims under the warranty is cancelled immediately.
•
Third-party damage.
Important !
In any case, the user of the device is responsible for monitoring the function of the device. Especially in
frost monitor mode. If the function of the device fails, any liability claim for consequential damage to
persons and objects of any kind is rejected.
