Cleaning and maintenance of the device
Disconnect the device from the mains socket before cleaning it
Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays
Use a dry to slightly damp cloth for cleaning
Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids
Never hold the device under running water
Never blow out the device with compressed air
Dust filter
Regularly remove dust and dirt with a soft, dry to slightly damp cloth. A dust filter is inserted on the
back of the device. The filter mat inserted in must be cleaned regularly by wiping it out by hand or by
briefly squeezing it out in a water bath. Cleaning is necessary when the filter mat becomes greyish with
dust. In order to clean it, the inserted dust filter must be removed from the holder. To do this, remove
the plastic filter cover by hand by pulling this cover out of the holder. You can then remove the dust filter
mat and clean it. When you reinsert the cleaned dust filter mat, press the cover back into the frame with
light finger pressure.
Important !
If the dust filter is moderately to heavily infested with dust, the heating output is reduced by up to 50%
or even more.
Only original dust filters may be used. This ensures that the heating output is not reduced, and the
device does not overheat.
Anti-Tip Switch
The heater is equipped with a safety anti-tip switch that will automatically turn off the heating element
and fan if the heater is not in an upright position (or loses contact with the ground). The device will not
function again until it has been returned to an upright position (again standing firmly upright on its
base).
