2.2 Caution - Important safety instructions
For reasons of personal safety, it is important to follow
all the instructions, as incorrect use can lead to serious
injury. Retain these instructions.
Any failure to comply with the instructions given in this
manual shall exclude Somfy from all liability and invalidate
the Somfy warranty.
This product is a motorisation for a sliding gate, for
which it complies. The main purpose of these instructions is
to satisfy the requirements of the aforementioned standard
and to ensure the safety of equipment and persons.
It is strictly prohibited to use this product on any other gate
than the original.
It is prohibited to add any safety accessories or any
other component not recommended by Somfy. Failure to
follow these instructions could result in serious injury, e.g.
crushing by the gate.
In case of any doubts when using this motorisation or to
obtain additional information, consult the gate motorisation
installer or the website www.somfy.com.
Any change to the settings must be performed by a
professional motorisation and home automation installer.
Making any changes which do not comply with these
instructions could risk personal injury or damage to property.
