MOUNTING THE Trimmer head
WARNING:
Always wear gloves when mounting or replacing the guard. Be careful of the blade on the
guard and protect your hands from being injured by the blade.
1. Disassemble the nut(clockwise), Dust cover, and support plate from gear case; (Fig. 2&3).
2. Rotate the drive shaft until you can see a hole inside the gear case side (Fig4), put the #1 Allen key
inside the inside hole, and rotate the trimmer head onto the drive shaft by anti-clockwise, until it's tight
enough (Fig.5)
MOUNTING THE GUARD
WARNING:
Always wear gloves when mounting or replacing the guard. Be careful of the blade on the
guard and protect your hands from being injured by the blade.

Lift the trimmer head and face it downward; align the two mounting holes in the guard with the two
assembly holes in the base of shaft. Make sure that the internal surface of the guard faces towards the
trimmer head, use the supplied #2 Allen key lock the guard bolts in place (Fig. 6).
