  • Page 13 HEIGHT-LOCKING CLAMP The handle can be quickly adjusted to accommodate any size person, helping to ensure an ideal, comfortable working height.   • Page 17 ADJUSTING THE TRIMMER HEIGHT If the length of the shaft is not suitable for operation, you can adjust the length of the shaft with the height-locking clamp. 1. Remove the battery pack from the Height-Locking Clamp trimmer. 2. To adjust the trimmer height (i.e., shaft length), open the height- locking clamp, and then slide the shaft up or down to desired height, securing it in place by depressing the height-locking clamp.
  • Page 18 4. Depress the shoulder strap carabiner to open it and attach the shoulder strap to the strap loop (Fig.13). 5. Adjust the shoulder strap length and placement to a comfortable operating position – hold the trimmer with both hands: one hand on the rear handle and the other hand on the front handle (Fig.
