INTRODUCTION
This installation guide has been produced for the thermostatic products. These
instructions cover the installation, operation and maintenance of the PURETHERM
thermostatic mixing valves. Please read the enclosed instructions before commencing
the installation of this product, please note;

IS CARRIED OUT BY AN APPROVED INSTALLER
The installation must be carried out strictly in accordance with the Water Supply Regulations and any local authority
regulation.
USE
Thanks to their special features, the PURETHERM thermostatic mixing valves, can be installed on centralized systems.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Please check that all the components are in the box prior to the installation of this product. Before installing a
PURETHERM mixer, the system must be inspected to ensure that it's operating conditions are within the range of the
mixer, checking, for example, the supply temperature, supply pressures, etc.
System where the PURETHERM mixer is to be fitted must be flushed to remove any dirt or debris which may have
accumulated during installation.
Failure to remove dirt or debris may affect performance and the manufacturer's product guarantee. The installation
of filters of appropriate capacity at the inlet of the water from the main supply is always advisable. In areas which are
subject to highly aggressive water, arrangements must be made to treat the water before it enters the valve.
PURETHERM mixers must be installed in accordance with the diagrams in this manual, taking into account all current
applicable standards and code of practice.
PURETHERM mixers can be installed in any position, either vertical or horizontal.
The following are shown on the mixer body:
Hot water inlet: H
Cold water inlet: C
When connecting to the drinking water installation, pay attention to the markings on the body. "H" is for hot
water, "C" is for cold water and "MIX" stands for pre-mixed water.
It is essential that access to the valve is totally unobstructed for any maintenance which may be required to the valve
or connections. The pipework from/to the valve must not be used to support the weight of the valve itself.
COMMISSIONING
After installation, the valve must be tested and commissioned in accordance with the instructions given below, taking
into account current applicable standards and code of practice.
1. Ensure that the system is clean and free from any dirt or debris before commissioning the thermostatic mixer.
2. It is recommended that the temperature is set using a suitable calibrated digital thermometer. The valve must
be commissioned by measuring the temperature of the mixed water emerging at the point of use.
3. The maximum discharge temperature from the valve must be set taking account of the fluctuations due to
simultaneous use. It is essential for these conditions to be stabilised before commissioning.
4. Adjust the temperature using the adjusting screw on the valve.
MAINTENANCE
In service tests should be carried out regularly to monitor the mixer performance, as deterioration of performance
could indicate that the valve and/or the system require maintenance. If, during these tests, the temperature of the
mixed water has changed significantly in comparison with the previous test, the details given in installation and
commissioning sections should be checked and maintenance carried out.
The following aspects should be checked regularly to ensure that the optimum performance levels of the valve are
maintained. Every 12 months at the last, or more often if necessary.
1. Check and clean the system filters.
2. Check that non-return valves are operating correctly, without problems caused by impurities.
3. Limescale can be removed from internal components by immersion in a suitable de-scaling fluid.
4. When the components which can be maintained have been checked, commissioning should be carried out
again.

INSTALLATIONSANLEITUNG
Bitte überprüfen Sie vor der Installation dieses Produkts, dass sich alle Komponenten in der Box befinden. Vor der
Installation eines Mischers der PURETHERM muss das System überprüft werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sich

und Regeln der Technik. Mischer der PURETHERM können in jeder Position installiert werden - entweder vertikal oder
horizontal. Folgendes ist auf dem Gehäuse des Mischers angegeben:

Beim Anschluss an die Trinkwasser-Installation auf die Gehäuse- Kennzeichnung achten. "H" steht
für Warmwasser, "C" für Kaltwasser und "MIX" steht für vorgemischtes Wasser. Es ist wichtig, dass für
Wartungsarbeiten, die am Ventil oder an Verbindungen erforderlich sein können, ein freier Zugang zum Ventil möglich
ist. Die Rohrleitungen vom/zum Ventil sind nicht dafür geeignet, das Gewicht des Ventils zu tragen.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Nach der Installation muss das Ventil in Übereinstimmung mit den nachfolgenden Anweisungen und unter
Berücksichtigung der aktuellen Normen und Regeln der Technik getestet und in Betrieb genommen werden.
1. Vor Inbetriebnahme des Thermostatmischers sicherstellen, dass das System sauber und frei von Schmutz
und Ablagerungen ist.
2. Es wird empfohlen, die Temperatur mit einem geeigneten kalibrierten Digitalthermometer einzustellen. Für die
Inbetriebnahme des Ventils muss die Temperatur des an der Verwendungsstelle austretenden Mischwassers
gemessen werden.
3. Die maximale Austrittstemperatur aus dem Ventil muss unter Berücksichtigung der Schwankungen durch
gleichzeitige Nutzung eingestellt werden. Es ist wichtig, dass diese Bedingungen vor der Inbetriebnahme
stabilisiert werden.
4. Stellen Sie die Temperatur mithilfe der Stellschraube am Ventil ein.

UTILISATION
Grace à leurs caractéristiques techniques, les mitigeurs thermostatiques PURETHERM peuvent etre utilisés dans
des installations à production centralisée.
INSTRUCTIONS D'INSTALLATION
Vérifier qu'il ne manque aucun éléments dans l'emballage. Avant la pose du mitigeur thermostatique PURETHERM,
l'installation doit être contrôlée afin de s'assurer que les conditions opérationnelles entrent bien dans le champ de
fonctionnement du mitigeur, par exemple vérifier les températures d'alimentation, les pressions d'alimentation, etc.
L'installation doit être purgée et nettoyée de toutes saletés qui auraient pu s'accumuler pendant la pose. La présence

monter un filtre de capacité suffisante à l'arrivée du réseau d'eau.
Dans les zones sujettes à des qualités d'eaux très agressives, il convient de prévoir un dispositif de traitement d'eau
avant le mitigeur.
Le mitigeur thermostatique PURETHERM doit être installé selon les schémas du présent manuel, en tenant compte
des normes en vigueurs.
Le mitigeur thermostatique PURETHERM peut être installé dans n'importe quelles positions, verticales ou
horizontales.
Sur le corps du mitigeur sont mis en évidence:
- L'entrée eau chaude avec H.
- L'entrée eau froide avec C.
Observer le marquage du boîtier lors du raccordement à l'installation d'eau potable. H signifie l'eau chaude,
C signifie l'eau froide, et MIX indique l'eau prémélangée.
Il est impératif de laisser libre l'accès au mitigeur et à ses raccordements pour la manutention éventuelle. La tubulure
utilisée doit pouvoir supporter le poids du mitigeur.
MISE EN SERVICE
Après la pose, le mitigeur doit être testé et mise en service en suivant les instructions suivantes, en tenant compte
des normes en vigueur.
1. S'assurer que l'installation soit propre et nettoyée de toutes impuretés avant la mise en service du mitigeur
thermostatique.
2. Il est recommandé de régler la température en utilisant un thermomètre digital calibré. Le mitigeur doit être mis
en service en mesurant la température de l'eau mitigée à un point de puisage.
3. La température maximum en sortie d'eau mitigée doit être réglée en tenant compte des fluctuations des
puisages simultanés. Il est indispensable que ces conditions soient établies avant la mise en service.
4. Régler la température à l'aide de la manette de réglage du mitigeur.
ENTRETIEN
Les essais en service servent à vérifier régulièrement les prestations du mitigeur, étant donné qu'une détérioration
des prestations peuvent indiquées la nécessité d'un entretien du mitigeur et/ou de l'installation. Si, durant ces essais,
la température de l'eau mitigée a changé de manière significative par rapport aux essais précédents, il faut vérifier les
paramètres reportés aux chapitres installation et mise en service et effectuer l'entretien. Pour un bon fonctionnement
du mitigeur, il est nécessaire de contrôler périodiquement les points suivants au moins une fois par an ou plus en
cas de nécessité:
1. Contrôler et nettoyer les filtres présents dans l'installation.
2. Contrôler que les éventuels clapets anti-retour montés à l'entrée du mitigeur fonctionnent parfaitement sans
fuite dû à des impuretés.
3. Les composants internes peuvent être détartrés par immersion d'un liquide détartrant.
4. Une fois l'entretien effectué, refaire la mise en service en suivant les instructions du chapitre correspondant.

estas instrucciones abarcan la instalación, el funcionamiento y el mantenimiento de las válvulas
mezcladoras termostáticas de la PURETHERM. Lea atentamente las instrucciones adjuntas antes
de comenzar la instalación del producto. Tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

INSTRUCCIONES DE INSTALACIÓN
Antes de instalar este producto, asegúrese de que todos los componentes se encuentran en la caja. Antes de
instalar una mezcladora de la PURETHERM, debe revisar el sistema para asegurarse de que sus condiciones de

reglas de la técnica que se encuentren en vigor. Las mezcladoras de la PURETHERM pueden instalarse en cualquier
posición, ya sea vertical u horizontal. En la carcasa de la mezcladora se indica lo siguiente:
Entrada de agua caliente: H - Entrada de agua fría: K
Al realizar la conexión a la instalación de agua potable, tenga en cuenta la identificación de la carcasa. "H"
significa agua caliente, "C" indica agua fría y "MIX" representa agua premezclada. Es importante que exista
un libre acceso a la válvula para realizar los trabajos de mantenimiento que puedan requerir la propia válvula o las

PUESTA EN SERVICIO

1. Antes de poner en servicio la mezcladora termostática asegúrese de que el sistema está limpio y no contiene

2. Se recomienda ajustar la temperatura con un termómetro digital calibrado adecuado. Para la puesta en
servicio de la válvula es preciso medir la temperatura del agua de mezcla que sale por el punto de uso.
3. La temperatura máxima de salida de la válvula debe ajustarse teniendo en cuenta las oscilaciones que surgen
con el uso simultáneo. Es importante que estas condiciones se estabilicen antes de la puesta en servicio.
4. Ajuste la temperatura en la válvula con ayuda del tornillo de ajuste.
MANTENIMIENTO
Durante el funcionamiento es preciso realizar comprobaciones periódicas para controlar el rendimiento de la
mezcladora, pues un empeoramiento de dicho rendimiento puede ser un indicio de que la válvula y/o el sistema
necesitan someterse a una operación de mantenimiento. Si durante una de estas comprobaciones se detecta que la
temperatura del agua de mezcla ha variado significativamente en comparación con la comprobación anterior, revise
los datos de los apartados dedicados a la instalación y la puesta en servicio y realice una labor de mantenimiento.
Para garantizar que se mantiene el rendimiento óptimo de la válvula es preciso comprobar periódicamente los
siguientes aspectos: Al menos una vez al año o, en caso necesario, con más frecuencia:
1. Revise y limpie los filtros del sistema.
2. Asegúrese de que las válvulas de retención funcionan correctamente y de que no puede producirse ningún
problema debido a la presencia de suciedad.
3. Los depósitos de cal de los componentes internos pueden eliminarse mediante una inmersión en una
solución descalcificadora adecuada.

Tento instalační návod byl vyhotovený pro termostatické produkty. Tento návod
zahrnuje instalaci, provoz a údržbu termostatických mísicích ventilů v PURETHERM.
Prosím přečtěte si přiložené pokyny dříve, než přistoupíte k instalaci daného

NÁVOD K INSTALACI
Před přistoupením k instalaci tohoto produktu se prosím ujistěte, že se v krabici nacházejí veškeré součásti. Před
nainstalováním mísiče v PURETHERM se musí daný systém ověřit, aby se zjistilo, zda se jeho provozní podmínky
nacházejí v rámci výkonového rozsahu daného mísiče. Kontrola např. přívodní teploty, přívodních tlaků, a tak dále.
Určitý systém, do kterého bude mísič v PURETHERM zabudovaný, se musí propláchnout, aby se tak odstranily
nečistoty a usazeniny, které by se zde mohly nashromáždit v průběhu instalace. Pokud by nečistoty a usazeniny
nebyly odstraněné, tak by to mohlo vést k narušení výkonu zařízení a rovněž k narušení platnosti produktové záruky
od výrobce. Na vstupu hlavního přívodu vody se vždy doporučuje zabudování filtrů s odpovídající kapacitou.
V regionech s velmi agresivní vodou se doporučuje použití takových opatření, se kterými se voda ošetří dříve, než
vstoupí do ventilu.Mísiče PURETHERM se musejí nainstalovat v souladu se schématy, uváděnými v tomto návodu,
a rovněž při zohlednění veškerých aktuálně platných norem a technických pravidel. Mísiče PURETHERM se mohou
nainstalovat do libovolné polohy – buďto svisle nebo vodorovně. Na pouzdře mísiče jsou uvedené následující údaje:
Přítok teplé vody: H
Přítok studené vody: K
Při napojení na instalaci pitné vody dávejte pozor na označení pouzdra. Označení „H" znamená horkou vodu,
označení „C" znamená studenou vodu a označení „MIX" znamená předem smíšenou vodu.
Je důležité, aby byl umožněný volný přístup k ventilu pro vykonávání údržbářských prací, které by se mohly požadovat
na ventilu nebo na připojovacích prvcích. Trubková vedení od ventilu / k ventilu nejsou určená k tomu, aby nesla
hmotnost ventilu.
UVEDENÍ DO PROVOZU

současného použití zdrojů. Je důležité, aby se tyto podmínky stabilizovaly před uváděním do provozu.
4. Teplotu nastavte při použití stavěcího šroubu na ventilu.
ÚDRŽBA
V průběhu provozu je potřeba vykonávat pravidelná přezkoušení, aby se překontroloval výkon mísiče, protože
zhoršení poskytovaného výkonu by mohlo ukazovat na potřebu vykonání údržby na ventilu anebo na systému.
Pokud se v průběhu nějakého takového přezkoušení zjistí význačná změna teploty smíšené vody ve srovnání s
předcházejícím přezkoušením, tak je potřeba ověřit údaje z kapitol pro instalaci a pro uvádění do provozu, a je potřeba
vykonat údržbu. Je potřeba pravidelně přezkušovat následující hlediska, aby se tak ověřilo dodržování optimálního
výkonu ventilu. Přinejmenším vždy po 12 měsících, nebo podle potřeby i častěji:
1. Přezkoušení a vyčištění filtru systému.
2. Přezkoušení, zda zamezovače zpětného toku správně fungují, a zda nevznikají žádné problémy v důsledku
výskytu nečistot.
3. Vápenné usazeniny na vnitřních součástech je možné odstranit pomocí ponoření do vhodné odvápňovací
kapaliny.
4. Když byly přezkoušené udržovatelné součásti, tak je potřeba uskutečnit nové uvedení do provozu.

ja roskia ei poisteta, se voi vaikuttaa sekoittimen suorituskykyyn ja valmistajan takuuseen. Kaikissa tilanteissa
suositellaan asennettavaksi kapasiteetiltaan sopivat suodattimet veden tulolinjoihin. Alueilla joissa laite joutuu
tekemisiin ominaisuuksiltaan vahvan veden kanssa tulee suorittaa tarvittavat järjestelyt veden käsittelemiseksi ennen
kuin se saapuu venttiileille.
PURETHERM sekoittimet täytyy asentaa kaavioiden ja oheen mukaisesti, ottaen huomioon kaikki voimassa olevat
standardit ja käytänteet.
PURETHERM sekoittimet voidaan asentaa mihin tahansa asentoon, joko pystysuoraan tai vaakasuoraan.
Sekoittimen rungossa näkyvät seuraavat merkinnät:
Kuuma vesi: H
Kylmä vesi: K
Juomavettä kytkettäessä on kiinnitettävä huomiota seuraaviin rungon merkintöihin. "H" tarkoittaa lämmintä
vettä, "C" tarkoittaa kylmää vettä ja "MIX" tarkoittaa sekoitettua vettä .
On tärkeää, että venttiili asennetaan niin, että sille ja sen liittimiin on täysin esteetön pääsy tarvittavia huoltotoimenpiteitä
varten. Tulo- ja lähtöputkien ei tule kantaa venttiilin painoa.
KÄYTTÖÖNOTTO
Asennuksen jälkeen venttiili täytyy testata ja ottaa käyttöön alla olevien ohjeiden mukaisesti, huomioiden voimassa
olevat standardit ja käytänteet.
1. Varmista, että järjestelmä on puhdas ja vapaa liasta sekä roskista ennen kuin otat termostaattisekoittimen
käyttöön.
2. Suositellaan, että lämpötila asetetaan asianmukaisesti kalibroidun digitaalisen lämpömittarin avulla. Venttiili
tulee ottaa käyttöön mittaamalla käyttöpisteestä tulevan sekoitetun veden lämpötila.
3. Venttiilistä tuleva maksimilähtölämpötila tulee asettaa ottaen huomioon samanaikaisen käytön aiheuttamat
vaihtelut. On tärkeää, että nämä olosuhteet vakioidaan ennen käyttöönottoa.
4. Säädä lämpötila käyttäen venttiilissä olevaa säätöruuvia.
HUOLTO
Laitteen testaus tulee suorittaa säännöllisesti sekoittimen toiminnan varmistamiseksi, koska heikentynyt suorituskyky
voi kertoa huollon tarpeesta. Jos testin aikana sekoitetun veden lämpötilan havaitaan muuttuneen huomattavasti
aikaisempiin testeihin verrattuna, tulee asennus- ja käyttöönotto-ohjeissa mainitut kohdat tarkistaa ja suorittaa laitteen
huolto.
Seuraavat kohdat tulee tarkistaa säännöllisesti, jotta taataan venttiilin optimaalinen suorituskyky. Vähintään 12
kuukauden välein, tai tarvittaessa useammin.
1. Järjestelmän suodattimien tarkistus ja puhdistus.
2. Takaiskuventtiilien toiminnan tarkistus, varmistetaan että epäpuhtaudet eivät aiheuta ongelmia niiden
toiminnassa.
3. Kalkkisaostumat voidaan poistaa laitteen sisäosista upottamalla se sopivaan poistoliuokseen.
4. Kun huollettavissa olevat komponentit on tarkistettu, tulee käyttöönotto suorittaa uudelleen.
