TECHNICAL FEATURES

Available functions:
• Control of three cameras, model SONY EVI-D31/G21.
• Recall of 6 PRESET frames (positions stored in the camera memory)
• Pan and tilt control by means of the (optional) Joystick as well
• Fast and slow zoom
• Automatic or manual focus
• MD function programming
• AT function programming

INSPECTION ROUND programming to be carried on one camera per time only: the
other two cameras cannot be moved and remain locked in their last position.
• Inspection round enablked by an MD alarm
• Outlet with relay contact (24VDC 1A) enabled by an MF alarm (optional)
Technical remarks:
The camera/s is/are connected to the EVD DRIVER unit via cable or serial line (not
supplied). The connection to be carried out is of "through" type, say from the main unit to
the first camera, from this to the second camera, and so on for ther third one.
The connection lengthes MAY NOT exceed 30 metres.
It is possible to reach higher distances by using signal amplifiers supplied upon demand.

Description of the product

The EVD RS232 REMOTE CONTROL DRIVER has been designed to control SONY
cameras of EVI-D31 type.
It enables the following functions:
• Control of three cameras via VISCA interface
• Pan & Tilt
• Home position
• Fast and slow zoom
• Auto/Manual focus
• Set/Preset of 6 frames
• Data screen & Frame display
• Pan-Tilt reset
• Power On/Off
• Complete AT/MD emulation, but for the "Fine-tuning the setting" function
