7 Setting up a Transmission Path

1) Set the transmission frequency on the re-
ceiver (
 chapter 6 1 or 6 2) If the transmit-
ter is still switched off and the LED bar graph
RF (3) indicates reception, interference signals
or signals from another wireless transmit-
ter are received In this case, use a different

transmission frequency

2) Switch on the transmitter and set it to the
transmission frequency of the receiver (

graph RF indicates the strength of the radio
signal

3) Speak / Sing into the microphone of the trans-
mitter or, when picking up the sound of an
instrument, feed audio signals to the micro-

the output level of the receiver to the input
of the subsequent unit

volume level of the transmitter Adjust the
level on the transmitter, if necessary (

In case of no reception or poor reception, please
check the following items:
– Are the batteries of the transmitter dis-
charged? The receiver indicates the battery
status of the transmitter:

– Are there any objects interfering with recep-
tion in the transmission path?
Keep the transmitter and the receiver at a
minimum distance of 50 cm from any metal
objects or possible sources of interference

– Is it possible to improve the reception quality
by turning the receiving antennas?
– Is the transmission power of the transmitter
too low (
