harness user instructions for correct use of these attachments. The PRD rescue facility will operate on the
rear attachment only.

7.3 Activating self rescue
During a descent it may be possible to safely land on a lower part of a structure. This is not recommended.
If attempted in an emergency situation it is important to avoid causing slack in the descent line and the

7.4 Operating instructions
WARNING! Before activating the PRD descender, ensure that the descent

path is clear of obstructions and sharp edges that may contact the descent
line during a descent. Only activate when it is safe to descend.

trailing leg is disconnected from any lanyard stowage points before
