Note: The polishing accessory begins to move with
short, low-power impulses. The angle polisher thus
signals the actuation of the first switchpad.
Briefly press the push button 3 on the gear
head.
The angle polisher starts gently and reaches its
lowest speed after a short time.
Notes: The angle polisher does not start:
– when switchpad 4/ 6 and push button 3 are
pressed at the same time
– if one or more of the pressing surfaces is/are
pressed while the mains plug is inserted

Setting the speed

The speed can be controlled infinitely variable while
the angle polisher is running.
To increase the speed:
– Briefly press the switchpad
Reducing the speed:
– Briefly press the switchpad
The speed set is shown by the symbols on the speed
display 5:
200/min
350/500
650/900
/rpm
/rpm
Note: The power tool starts with the lowest speed at
each starting procedure.
The self-start prevention lock prevents the angle
polisher from starting again on its own accord if the
current supply has been interrupted during opera-
tion, e. g. by pulling out the mains plug.
Conduct the mains lead away from the rotat-
ing polishing accessory. If you lose control
over the power tool, the mains lead could be cut
through or caught, thereby drawing your hand or
your arm into the rotating polishing accessory.
Polishing
Press the power tool on evenly and move it
over the surface.
Do not strain the power tool!
Do not allow the surface of the workpiece to
become too hot.
Stopping
Press push button 3. The polishing accessory starts to
run down.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Clean the cooling air vents.
Use non-metallic tools to clean the air vents.
Blow out the interior of the power tool from
outside through the air vents with dry, com-
pressed air.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified
electricians in conformity with the valid regula-
tions.
Please always hand this Instruction Manual to
the those carrying out the repair.
