Do not work metallic materials with the ex-
traction device mounted. There is danger of
fire due to the hot metal chips.
To achieve optimum extraction results, please
observe the following notes:
– Pay attention that the extraction device 10
faces flush against the workpiece or the wall.
This also makes drilling at a right angle easier.
– When using the extraction device, always work
with full speed.
– After reaching the desired drilling depth, pull
the drill bit out of the drill hole first and then
switch off the machine.
– Check the condition of the filter element 19
regularly. Replace a damaged filter element
immediately.
– The dust protection ring 16 can wear, espe-
cially when working with large drill-bit diame-
ters. Replace the dust protection ring when
worn/damaged.
Mounting the Extraction Device
When mounting, guide the extraction device 10
from the front to the bottom side of the drill. Pay
attention that the extraction device rests flush
against the machine and that it is locked.
Cleaning the Extraction Device
Attach the locking latch 17 or empty the dust col-
lector 14 before placing the extraction device 10
into the tool case (see figure
The capacity of the dust collector 14 is sufficient
for approx. 20 drillings with a 6 mm drilling diam-
eter.
When the extraction force diminishes or when the
level indicator 20 is full, the dust collector 14
must be emptied. For this, press on the riffled sur-
face of the pushbutton 13 and take off the dust
collector 14.

Empty and clean the dust collector. Clean the fil-
ter element in the extraction device by gently
striking or tapping against it.
Check the filter element 19 for damage and re-
place, if required. For this, pry off the holder of the
filter element ( ) using a screwdriver or similar
and replace the filter element and the holder ( ).
When placing on the holder again, make sure
that the rubber gasket is inserted.
Reattach the dust collector 14 again and lock it
by pressing against the smooth surface of the
pushbutton 13.
Removing the Extraction Device
For removal of the extraction device 10, press the
pushbutton 18 to the right or left and pull off the
extraction device toward the front.
Auxiliary Handle/Depth Stop
(see figures
Operate the machine only with the auxiliary
handle 9.
The auxiliary handle can be mounted on the left
or right side of the spindle collar, using the wing
bolt 3.
Mount the extraction device as described in the
chapter "Dust Extraction".
Adjusting the Drilling Depth
Insert a drill bit into the drill chuck and clamp the
chuck as described in the chapter "Inserting the
Tool".
Rotate the sleeve for the adjustment of the depth
stop 12 upward.
Place the machine, without switching it on, firmly
against the surface to be drilled. The drill bit must
touch the surface.
Rotate the sleeve 12 downward in order to ascer-
tain the determined clearance (see figure
Read the scale value of the telescopic guide 11
on the sleeve 12. Add to this value the desired
drilling depth X. Slide the sleeve 12 to the calcu-
lated scale value. Rotate the sleeve 12 down-
