5.8 SAMPLE WEIGHT PERCENTILE

In this functioning mode, the display shows the weight expressed as a percentile, comparing it with a reference weight
for which the 100 percentile has been already linked.
MATCHING PROCEDURE
Check that the zero is on the display and press MODE several times to set the percentile mode (see section 5.5)

NOTE: Press SET if a sampling has already been made.
- The display will indicate "LOAD-P": it is possible to proceed in 2 modes:
a.
Put the reference weight correspondent to 100% on the scale and press the ENTER key.
b.
Press U key to enter the weight correspondent to 100%: Use the
ENTER to go on the following digit.
- The scale has executed the percentile matching and displays the percentile of the weight on the scale.
- Unload the scale: the following weighs will be expressed as a percentage in reference to the reference weight.
- To cancel or execute a new matching operation, press the SET key and repeat the operations described above.
NOTES
When the sample weighed less than 0.1% FS., the weight window displays "-PSL-". It means the sample is not
enough. One should re-sample. Press SET to re-sample. Press ENTER to exit back to the weighing model.
Press SET to exit from the sample state in the process of sample.

5.9 CHECKING WEIGHT

The scale is fitted with the weight check function with 2 thresholds. An acoustic alarm is enabled on the basis of the set
thresholds and the weighing result.
The check can be made on the weight.

5.9.1 SETTING OF THE WEIGHT THRESHOLDS

Press MODE several times to set the weighing mode (see section 5.5), then press SET:

The display alternates the "- HI -" message with the set upper limit value "XXX.XXX": press

Use the
key to increase the value of the digit and the ENTER key to go on the following digit.

Once the last upper limit digit is confirmed, the display alternates the "- LO -" message with the set lower limit
value "XXX.XXX": press

Use the
key to increase the value of the digit and the ENTER key to go on the following digit.
-
Once the last lower limit digit is confirmed, the display shows the set alarm method "- XX -": press
the acoustic alarm should enable when the weight is in the range ("- IN -"), when the weight is out of the range ("-
OUT -") or disable the alarm and consequently the function ("- NO -").

The thresholds are configured and the indicator returns to weighing.

5.9.2 ACOUSTIC INDICATION OF THE WEIGHT CHECK

Put a weight on the plate of the scale, the alarm will enable depending on which method has been configured:
WITH ALARM METHOD SET TO "- IN -"

The alarm will turn on when the detected weight is between the LOWER THRESHOLD and the UPPER
THRESHOLD.

The alarm will turn off when the detected weight exceeds the UPPER THRESHOLD and when is less than the
LOWER THRESHOLD.
WITH ALARM METHOD SET TO "- OUT -"

The alarm will turn on when the detected weight exceeds the UPPER THRESHOLD and when is less than the
LOWER THRESHOLD.

The alarm will turn off when the detected weight is between the LOWER THRESHOLD and the UPPER
THRESHOLD.
