PROBLEM
The co ee is weak or not creamy
enough.
The co ee is delivered too slowly or a
drop at a time.
Co ee does not come out of one or
both of the spouts.
The machine will not make co ee
The machine does not come on
The infuser cannot be extracted
At the end of descaling, the machine
requests a third rinse
Milk does not ow from the milk
spout (E5)
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The co ee is ground too coarsely.
The co ee is unsuitable.
The co ee is not fresh.
The co ee is ground too nely.
The co ee spouts (A9) are blocked.
The machine has detected impurities
in its internal circuits. "Cleaning under-
way" is displayed.
It is not plugged into the mains socket. Plug into the mains socket ( g. 1).
The main switch (A22) is not turned on. Press the main switch ( g. 2).
The machine has not been turned o
correctly
During the two rinse cycles, the water
tank (A17) has not been lled to the
MAX level
The milk container (E) lid (E2) is dirty

REMEDY
Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A5) one
click anticlockwise towards "1" while the cof-
fee grinder is in operation ( g. 13). Continue
one click at a time until co ee delivery is sat-
isfactory. The e ect is only visible after deliv-
ering 2 co ees (see section "7.5 Adjusting the
co ee grinder").
Use co ee for espresso machines.
The co ee pack has been opened for too long
and has lost its taste.
Turn the grinding adjustment dial (A5) one
click clockwise towards "7" while the co ee
grinder is in operation ( g. 13). Continue one
click at a time until co ee delivery is satisfac-
tory. The e ect is only visible after delivering
2 co ees (see section "7.5 Adjusting the co ee
grinder").
Clean the spouts with a toothpick ( g. 25B).
Wait for the machine to be ready for use again
and reselect the required beverage. Contact
Customer Services if the problem persists.
Turn the machine o by pressing the
ton (A15) (see section "5. Turning the machine
o ").
Follow the instructions displayed by the ma-
chine, but rst empty the drip tray (A15) to
avoid the water over owing.
Clean the milk container lid as described in sec-
tion "14.10 Cleaning the milk container".
