Please note
The lter lasts about two months if the machine is used normal-
ly. If the co ee machine is left unused with the lter installed, it
will last a maximum of 3 weeks.
5. "RUN WATER INTO FILTER HOLE" "UNTIL IT COMES OUT" ( g.
38): To activate the lter, run tap water through the hole
in the lter as shown in the gure until water comes out
of the openings at the side for more than a minute. Press

6. Extract the tank (A17) from the machine and ll with
water.
7. "IMMERSE FILTER TO" "EXPEL AIR BUBBLES" ( g. 39): Insert
the lter in the water tank and immerse it completely for
about ten seconds, sloping it and pressing it lightly to ena-
ble the air bubbles to escape. Press
8. "INSERT FILTER" "IN HOUSING": Insert the lter (D4) in the
lter housing ( g. 36) and press as far as it will go. Press

9. "INSERT WATER TANK": Close the tank with the lid (A17),
10. "POSITION 0.5L CONTAINER" "OK TO ENABLE FILTER"
The lter is now active and the co ee machine can be used.

17.2 Replacing the lter

Replace the lter (D4) when "REPLACE WATER FILTER" "PRESS
OK TO START" appears on the display: to replace immediately,
